Summer School 2020
Welcome to Summer School 2020:
Victor Valley Union High School District’s 2020 summer school session will consist of 4 weeks of school beginning June 31st through June 26th. This means students must remain focused, work diligently to advance through the coursework and earn credits. Summer School will be offered though Victor Valley High School Summer School in an online, distance learning format only. Students will only be allowed to request two courses through their counselors or email@example.com. The summer program will only offer remediation courses to catch up on missed credits. Summer school courses are offered through APEX Online Credit recovery and students will complete the reduced content courses for the highest grade of "C". All core courses offered are A-G approved through UCOP.
STUDENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED IF THEY HAVE BEEN ENROLLED ON THE AFTERNOON OF MAY 27TH BY PHONE CALL AND EMAIL. STUDENT WILL BE CONTACTED BY THEIR APEX TEACHERS AND ENROLLED IN THE APEX TEACHER GOOGLE CLASSROOM FOR DAILY CHECK IN.

How to register for summer school:
1. Contact your school site counselor to identify what classes you need and or want.
2. After meeting with students, counselors will input summer school course selection requests into
3. Students and parents can login to their Aeries Portal account to see their summer school course
selection by clicking student info, and then course requests, next scroll down and look for the
summer school title.
4. Questions pertaining to summer school course requests can be directed to the student's counselor,
questions after the start of summer school can be directed to the firstname.lastname@example.org
or their APEX teachers
