Coaching and Athletic Resources
All coaches, whether stipend or volunteer, MUST complete the following prior to working with students as a coach:
- District Coaching Packet: Must be signed by the Athletic Director and Principal and then routed digitially to the District Office for further processing
- Required Indentification: Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card or Passport
- Fingerprinting through the District office (will only be given the form for fingerprinting once site application documents have been received by the school)
- CPR and First Aid required; Lifeguarding certificate if working with water sports
- Tuberculin Skin Test Results (PPD) - or other test to show free of TB
- Keenan Safeschools Training (will be emailed directions for completing/renewing after fingerprinting is complete):
Once all of these requirements have been completed, you will be badged for the sport in which you were approved. You will be required to wear your badge at all times when coaching. If you are not completely cleared as a coach, you may not be on the court or field for practice or games, and you will not be paid for any unauthorized work completed.
